April 12, 2025: Berlin, OH 44310 The Hiland Hawks baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Buckeye Bucks to 3 in the Hawks non-league win on Saturday.
The Hawks now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Garaway for a Inter Valley South test on Monday, April 14. Hiland will play a Pirates team coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Coshocton (Coshocton, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Buckeye drops to 3-3 on the year. The Bucks host Bay (Bay Village, OH) to play the Rockets in a Cleveland West test on Monday, April 14. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 1-2. Bay won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (Cuyahoga Falls, OH)
