The Mallard Creek Mavericks baseball squad (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 12-3 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC)

With the triumph, Cannon moves its record to 5-8 on the season. The Cougars travel to Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Wolves in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 15. The Wolves come into the contest with a record of 5-13. Ballantyne Ridge lost 7-1 in their recent non-league contest against Butler (Matthews, NC)

The Mavericks now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlotte Stampede for a non-league contest on Monday, April 14. Mallard Creek will confront a Stampede squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Stampede record now stands at 10-12.
