Louisiana High School Baseball - Kaplan wallops Central Catholic
April 12, 2025: Kaplan, LA 70548 The Kaplan Pirates baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Central Catholic Eagles to 1 in the Pirates non-league win on Saturday.
The Pirates now own a 18-11 record. They take the field next when they host Ascension Christian for a non-league test on Monday, April 14. Kaplan will play a team coming off a 15-1 league win over East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA). The record now stands at 25-8.
With the defeat, Central Catholic drops to 14-18 on the year. The Eagles travel to St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA) to play the Saints in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. The Saints go into the test with a record of 13-15. St. Martin's Episcopal lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA)
