North Dakota High School Baseball - Hazen nipped by Hatton/Northwood
April 12, 2025: Hazen, ND 58545 Hatton/Northwood Thunder (Northwood, ND) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Hazen Bison (Hazen, ND), 4-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Hatton/Northwood advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Thunder travel to Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND) to battle the Patriots in a Class B - Region II match on Monday, April 14. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 0-0.
The Bison now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shiloh Christian for a Class B - Region VIII match on Tuesday, April 15. Hazen will battle a Skyhawks squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Beulah (Beulah, ND). The Skyhawks record now stands at 5-0.
