In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Hunt Warriors baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the Millbrook Wildcats.

The Warriors (11-7) will now prepare for their game against Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC). The Saints go into the Quad County 3A game with a 5-11 record. In their last game, Southern Wayne by South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC), 4-0, in a league game.

Next, the Wildcats play the Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC) in a Northern Athletic 4A game, on Monday, April 14. Millbrook will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 4-12 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Cary (Cary, NC).
