Missouri High School Baseball - Jefferson defeats Meadow Heights
April 12, 2025: Festus, MO 63028 The Jefferson Blue Jays baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Meadow Heights Panthers to 0 in the Blue Jays non-league win on Saturday.
The Blue Jays now hold a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Kingston for a Class 3 District 3 test on Monday, April 14. Jefferson will play a Cougars team coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Bourbon (Bourbon, MO). The Cougars record now stands at 4-6.
With the defeat, Meadow Heights drops to 5-4 on the year. The Panthers host Oran (Oran, MO) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, April 14. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 4-1. Oran won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against East Prairie (East Prairie, MO)
