In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers baseball team scored a close 7-2 win over the MacArthur Generals.

The Hilltoppers (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL). The Broncos go into the non-league game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Cerro Gordo/Bement was overwhelmed by Argenta-Oreana (Argenta, IL), 13-6, in a league game.

Next, the Generals play the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones (Springfield, IL) in a Central State Eight game, on Tuesday, April 15. MacArthur will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
