April 12, 2025: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33330 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks (Fort Lauderdale, FL) and the visiting Homestead Broncos (Homestead, FL), observed Archbishop McCarthy's volleyball team hold off Homestead by a count of 2-1.
The Mavericks (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against American Heritage (Plantation, FL). The Patriots enter the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, American Heritage was nudged by St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Homestead drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Broncos host Palmetto (Miami, FL) to clash with the Panthers in a bout on Tuesday, April 15. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 2-0.
