April 12, 2025: Chicago, IL 60624 The Maine East Blue Demons volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Von Steuben Panthers to 0 in the Blue Demons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Blue Demons now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Niles North for a Central Suburban North outing on Tuesday, April 15. Maine East will play a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Von Steuben drops to 3-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL) to play the Grizzlies in a Chicago Public Gold outing on Tuesday, April 15. The Grizzlies come into the outing with a record of 5-7. Payton College Prep won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Belvidere (Belvidere, IL)
