Illinois High School Soccer - Trinity toppled by Lake Park
April 12, 2025: River Forest, IL 60305 Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL), 9-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lake Park moves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Lancers host Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Cristeros in a non-league test on Monday, April 14. The Cristeros come into the test with a record of 5-3. Cristo Rey Jesuit lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL)
The Blazers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Chicago Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. Trinity will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 7-2 league win over Phoenix Military (Chicago, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 5-3.
