April 12, 2025: Anderson, MO 64831 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Neosho Wildcats (Neosho, MO) and the host McDonald County Mustangs (Anderson, MO), saw Neosho's soccer squad knock off McDonald County by a score of 2-0.
The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Kickapoo (Springfield, MO). The Chiefs enter the Class 4 District 5 battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Kickapoo tipped Joplin (Joplin, MO), 8-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Greenwood Blue Jays (Springfield, MO) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 14. McDonald County will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Blue Jays enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Marshfield (Marshfield, MO).
