Ohio High School Softball - Clay bounces Van Buren
April 12, 2025: Oregon, OH 43616 The Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH) softball routed the visiting Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH), 14-3 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Eagles now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bowling Green for a Northern Lakes outing on Wednesday, April 16. Clay will encounter a Bobcats team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Springfield (Holland, OH). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-8.
With the loss, Van Buren moves to 1-2 on the season. The Black knights travel to Arlington (Arlington, OH) to encounter the Red Devils in a Blanchard Valley outing on Monday, April 14. The Red Devils come into the outing with a record of 1-4. Arlington lost 6-1 in their recent non-league outing against Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH)
