In Saturday's non-league test, the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) softball squad the host East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN), by a tally of 17-13.

Next, the Indians meet the Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) in a Duneland test, on Tuesday, April 15. Lake Central will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 10-0 league loss to La Porte (La Porte, IN).

The Trojans (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Jennings County (North Vernon, IN). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Jennings County was routed by Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN), 6-5, in a non-league test.
