Middle Township Panthers (Cape May Court House, NJ) backers left the game pleased Sunday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Holy Cross Lancers (Delran, NJ), 5-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Middle Township upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ) to play the Falcons in a non-league game on Monday, April 13. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 1-2.

The Lancers now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Pennsauken for a non-league game on Monday, April 13. Holy Cross will play a Indians squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Palmyra (Palmyra, NJ). The Indians record now stands at 0-6.
