Georgia High School Soccer - Pope knocks off Wheeler
April 13, 2021: Marietta, GA 30062 Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA), 6-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Greyhounds face the Blessed Trinity Titans (Roswell, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 16. Pope will attempt to better on its 11-3 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Decatur (Decatur, GA).
The Wildcats now have a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Kennesaw Mountain for a AAAAAA Region 6 challenge on Thursday, April 15. Wheeler will face a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-5.
