April 13, 2022: West Columbia, SC 29170 The Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC) baseball nipped the visiting Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC), 4-3 in Wednesday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) in a AAAA Region 5 contest, on Thursday, April 14. Airport will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Thoroughbreds come into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC).
The Panthers now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Broome for a AAA Region 3 contest on Friday, April 15. Chapman will encounter a Centurions squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to Chapman (Inman, SC). The Centurions record now stands at 11-5.
