In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Liberty Patriots baseball team scored a tight 12-5 victory over the Pahrump Valley Trojans.

The Patriots (11-14) will now prepare for their game against Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV). The Diamondbacks go into the 5A South - Mountain game with a 11-12 record. In their last game, Desert Oasis was overwhelmed by Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA), 4-0, in a non-league game.
