Virginia High School Softball - Appomattox County bounces Dan River
April 13, 2022: Appomattox, VA 24522 Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Raiders now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rustburg for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19.
With the loss, Dan River falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to William Campbell (Naruna, VA) to battle the Generals in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Generals enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
