North Carolina High School Softball - West Stokes North Davidson
April 13, 2022: Lexington, NC 27295 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) and the host North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC), witnessed West Stokes's softball squad tip North Davidson by a count of 5-2.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Morehead for a Mid-State 2A match on Friday, April 15. West Stokes will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, North Davidson moves to 12-4 on the season. The Black knights host Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to meet the Blue Comets in a Mid-Piedmont 3A match on Friday, April 15. The Blue Comets go into the match with a record of 4-11. Asheboro lost 11-1 in their recent league test against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC)
