Maryland High School Baseball - Crofton nips Northern
April 13, 2023: Gambrills, MD 21054 Crofton (Gambrills, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Northern Patriots (Owings, MD), 7-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Crofton upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The travel to Northeast (Pasadena, MD) to battle the Eagles in a Anne Arundel County test on Friday, April 14. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 7-3. Northeast won 7-3 in their recent league test against South River (Edgewater, MD)
With the defeat, Northern falls to 2-10 on the season. The Patriots travel to Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD) to battle the Cavaliers in a Southern Maryland test on Friday, April 14. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 2-9. Calvert lost 10-8 in their recent non-league test against McDonough (Pomfret, MD)
