California High School Baseball - Venture Academy holds off Delta

April 13, 2023: Stockton, CA 95206

Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Delta Saints (Clarksburg, CA), 8-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Venture Academy upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Wheatland (Wheatland, CA) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Monday, April 17. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 9-7. Wheatland won 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Turlock Christian (Turlock, CA)

With the defeat, Delta falls to 7-2 on the season. The Saints host Forest Lake Christian (Auburn, CA) to battle the Falcons in a Central Valley California League test on Monday, April 17. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 0-4. Forest Lake Christian lost 6-5 in their recent league test against Victory Christian (Carmichael, CA)
