April 13, 2023: Andover, KS 67002 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Andover Trojans (Andover, KS) and the visiting Newton Railroaders (Newton, KS), saw Andover's soccer squad triumph over Newton by a count of 6-1.
The Trojans now hold a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Salina Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 18. Andover will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Goddard (Goddard, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Newton drops to 5-3 on the season. The Railroaders host South (Salina, KS) to meet the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 18. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 3-6. South lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Derby (Derby, KS)
