In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Helix Highlanders softball team scored a close 9-3 win over the Christian Patriots.

Coming up next, the Highlanders battle the Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 15. Helix will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 6-8 record after their 8-1 league win over Sweetwater (National City, CA).

The Patriots (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Clairemont (San Diego, CA). The Chieftains enter the City Eastern outing with a 8-4 record.
