Michigan High School Softball - Stoney Creek nudges St. Mary's Prep
April 13, 2023: Orchard Lake, MI 48324 Stoney Creek Cougars (Rochester Hills, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host St. Mary's Prep Eaglets (Orchard Lake, MI), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host L'Anse Creuse for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. Stoney Creek will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Port Huron (Port Huron, MI). The Lancers record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, St. Mary's Prep falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Eaglets travel to Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI) to battle the Titans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Sterling Heights Stevenson lost 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Utica (Utica, MI)
