The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans (Concord, IL) and the visiting West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars (Winchester, IL), saw Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia's softball squad nip West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] by a count of 8-5.

The Trojans now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Pittsfield for a non-league match on Saturday, April 15. Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia will face a Saukees squad coming off a 15-12 non-league loss to Barry Western (Barry, IL). The Saukees record now stands at 2-7.
