The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the West Central Trojans (Francesville, IN) and the visiting Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN), saw West Central's softball squad achieve victory over Washington Township by a count of 12-1.

The Trojans now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgan Township for a non-league match on Saturday, April 15. West Central will face a Cherokees squad coming off a 12-2 league win over South Central (Union Mills, IN). The Cherokees record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Washington Township falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Senators travel to Tri-Township (LaCrosse, IN) to face the Tigers in a Porter County match on Friday, April 14. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-2. Tri-Township lost 16-0 in their recent non-league match against Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN)
