North Carolina High School Baseball - South Rowan nudged by Central Davidson
April 13, 2024: China Grove, NC 28023 The South Rowan Raiders baseball team (China Grove, NC), was tipped 5-4 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC)
The Spartans now hold a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Davidson for a Mid-Piedmont 3A outing on Tuesday, April 16. Central Davidson will confront a Black Knights team coming off a 6-5 league win over Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 10-5.
Next, the Raiders confront the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A outing, on Tuesday, April 16. South Rowan will attempt to advance on its 9-10 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 10-8 record after their 6-5 league win over Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC).
