Illinois High School Baseball - Jacksonville defeats Waterloo
April 13, 2024: Waterloo, IL 62298 Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Jacksonville upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Crimsons travel to Taylorville (Taylorville, IL) to battle the Tornadoes in a non-league test on Monday, April 15. The Tornadoes come into the test with a record of 5-7. Taylorville won 6-2 in their recent non-league test against Wethersfield/Annawan (Kewanee, IL)
With the defeat, Waterloo falls to 9-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Triad (Troy, IL) to battle the Knights in a Mississippi Valley test on Monday, April 15. The Knights come into the test with a record of 10-5. Triad won 15-6 in their recent league test against Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL)
