April 13, 2024: Princeton, NJ 08540 Somerville Pioneers (Somerville, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Princeton Day Panthers (Princeton, NJ), 7-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Somerville upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Pioneers host Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ) to battle the Chargers in a non-league test on Monday, April 15. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 6-0. Spotswood won 18-2 in their recent league test against Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ)
With the defeat, Princeton Day falls to 0-3 on the season. The Panthers host Steinert (Hamilton, NJ) to battle the Spartans in a CVC - Colonial test on Monday, April 15. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 3-3. Steinert lost 14-7 in their recent non-league test against Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ)
