Missouri High School Baseball - West Platte holds off Tarkio
April 13, 2024: Tarkio, MO 64491 West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Tarkio Indians (Tarkio, MO), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, West Platte upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Bluejays host Bishop LeBlond (St. Joseph, MO) to battle the Eagles in a Class 2 District 15 test on Monday, April 15. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-9. Bishop LeBlond lost 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Tarkio (Tarkio, MO)
With the defeat, Tarkio falls to 2-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Falls City (Falls City, NE) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 16. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-11. Falls City lost 7-1 in their recent non-league test against Auburn (Auburn, NE)
