The Jefferson County Wild lacrosse squad (Shenandoah Junction, WV), was overwhelmed 17-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV)

Coming up next, the Patriots meet the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) in a WVSLA - Division I challenge, on Tuesday, April 16. George Washington will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Polar Bears enter the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA).

The Wild now sport a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Martinsburg for a WVSLA - Division II challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Jefferson County will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 21-10 league win over Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-2.
