Illinois High School Soccer - Johnsburg knocks off McHenry
April 13, 2024: Johnsburg, IL 60050 Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Skyhawks confront the Plano Reapers (Plano, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Monday, April 15. Johnsburg will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Reapers enter the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL).
The Warriors now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Cary-Grove for a Fox Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 16. McHenry will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.
