Delaware High School Lacrosse - Sussex Central drops to Cape Henlopen
April 13, 2024: Georgetown, DE 19947 In Saturday's league test, the visiting Cape Henlopen Vikings lacrosse squad scored a good 23-3 victory over the Sussex Central Golden Knights.
The Vikings now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caesar Rodney for a Henlopen North test on Tuesday, April 16. Cape Henlopen will face a Riders squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Polytech (Woodside, DE). The Riders record now stands at 5-1.
In their next game, the Golden Knights face the Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE) in a Henlopen North test, on Wednesday, April 17. Sussex Central will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 6-0 record after their 8-3 non-league win over St. Andrew's (Middletown, DE).
