Virginia High School Softball - Hopewell bounces Armstrong
April 13, 2024: Richmond, VA 23223 The Hopewell Blue Devils routed the host Armstrong Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 20-9 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Blue Devils (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Colonials go into the Central battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Colonial Heights was routed by Prince George (Prince George, VA), 13-3, in a league battle.
The Wildcats now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to John Marshall for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 17. Armstrong will meet a Justices squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Richmond City School of the Arts (Richmond, VA). The Justices record now stands at 3-1.
