Michigan High School Softball - Ravenna bounces Cedar Springs
April 13, 2024: Ravenna, MI 49451 Ravenna Bulldogs (Ravenna, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cedar Springs Red Hawks (Cedar Springs, MI), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shelby for a Western Michigan challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Ravenna will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to Mason County Central (Scottville, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Cedar Springs falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Red hawks host Wayland (Wayland, MI) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Wayland lost 9-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Escanaba (Escanaba, MI)
