Riverdale Falcons (Mt. Blanchard, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Colonel Crawford Eagles (North Robinson, OH), 22-21 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Vanlue for a Blanchard Valley challenge on Monday, April 15. Riverdale will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-6 league win over Pandora-Gilboa (Pandora, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Colonel Crawford falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Bucyrus (Bucyrus, OH) to battle the Redmen in a Northern 10 challenge on Tuesday, April 16.
