Wisconsin High School Softball - Cumberland gets by Hurley
April 13, 2024: Cumberland, WI 54829 The Cumberland Beavers got by the visiting Hurley Northstars softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Beavers (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI). The Lumberjacks go into the Heart O'North battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Ladysmith was edged by Northwestern (Maple, WI), 18-2, in a league battle.
The Northstars now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they host South Shore for a Northern Lights battle on Monday, April 15. Hurley will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 15-1 league loss to Drummond (Drummond, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-1.
