April 13, 2024: Eau Claire, WI 54701 The Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes the visiting River Valley Blackhawks softball squad by a count of 5-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Old Abes (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Rice Lake (Rice Lake, WI). The Warriors go into the Big Rivers battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Rice Lake was routed by New Richmond (New Richmond, WI), 8-3, in a league battle.
The Blackhawks now sport a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Stoughton for a non-league battle on Monday, April 15. River Valley will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Oregon (Oregon, WI). The Vikings record now stands at 2-5.
