New Mexico High School Softball - Mesilla Valley Christian School bounces Hot Springs
April 13, 2024: Truth or Consequences, NM 87901 Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their softball team defeat the host Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM), 19-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Mesilla Valley Christian School moves its record to 10-1 on the year. The SonBlazers host Tularosa (Tularosa, NM) to clash with the Wildcats in a A/2A District 3 game on Tuesday, April 16. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 9-4. Tularosa won 12-1 in their recent league game against Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM) in a 3A District 3 game, on Saturday, April 20. Hot Springs will attempt to move on its 0-14 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 4-12 record after their 24-8 non-league loss to Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM).
