April 13, 2024: Winneconne, WI 54986 Winneconne Wolves (Winneconne, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks (Weyauwega, WI), 23-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolves now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Pacelli for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. Winneconne will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Westfield Area (Westfield, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Weyauwega-Fremont falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to Iola-Scandinavia (Iola, WI) to face the Thunderbirds in a Central Wisconsin - East challenge on Monday, April 15.
