In Monday's non-league game, the host Lamar Thunder baseball team scored a nice 21-1 win over the St. Mary's Pirates.

The Thunder (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO). The Mustangs go into the 3A/2A Tri-Peaks game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Manitou Springs was overwhelmed by Falcon (Falcon, CO), 23-4, in a non-league game.
