The Cascade Cadets triumphed over the host Northview Knights softball squad by a count of 16-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cadets play the Southmont Mounties (Crawfordsville, IN) in a challenge, on Tuesday, April 14. Cascade will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Mounties enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Danville (Danville, IN).

The Knights (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Shakamak (Jasonville, IN). The Lakers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Shakamak overcame Washington (Washington, IN), 8-3, in a non-league challenge.
