The East Greenwich Avengers softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Classical Lady Purple/Athena to 7 in the Avengers league win on Monday.

The Avengers now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln for a Division 2 battle on Tuesday, April 14. East Greenwich will confront a Lions team coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Tiverton (Tiverton, RI). The Lions record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Classical moves to 0-4 on the season. The Lady purple/athena travel to Central (Providence, RI) to confront the Knights in a Division 3 battle on Monday, April 20. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 3-4.
