The Upper Scioto Valley Rams edged the host Ridgedale Rockets softball squad by a count of 11-10 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Rams play the Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH) in a Northwest Central challenge, on Tuesday, April 14. Upper Scioto Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Golden Gophers enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Mt. Gilead (Mt. Gilead, OH).

The Rockets (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hardin Northern (Dola, OH). The Polar Bears enter the Northwest Central challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Hardin Northern edged Perry (Lima, OH), 18-0, in a league challenge.
