South Carolina High School Baseball - James Island wallops Ashley Ridge
April 14, 2022: Summerville, SC 29485 James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC), 11-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, James Island upgrades its record to 20-1 on the season. The Trojans host Bluffton (Bluffton, SC) to battle the Bobcats in a AAAA Region 7 test on Monday, April 18. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 10-4. Bluffton won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC)
With the defeat, Ashley Ridge falls to 4-5 on the season. The Swamp foxes host Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC) to battle the Patriots in a AAAAA Region 8 test on Friday, April 15. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-1.
