Maryland High School Lacrosse - Manchester Valley sneaks past Oakdale
April 14, 2022: Manchester, MD 21102 The Manchester Valley Mavericks lacrosse team scored 8 points and held the visiting Oakdale to 7 in the Mavericks non-league win on Thursday.
The Mavericks (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD). The Eagles go into the Monocacy Valley game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Francis Scott Key was tipped by Catoctin (Thurmont, MD), 5-3, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, Oakdale drops to 2-4 on the season. The host South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD) to play the Rebels in a CMC match on Tuesday, April 19. The Rebels go into the match with a record of 0-1. South Hagerstown lost 15-2 in their recent league match against Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD)
