April 14, 2022: Charlottesville, VA 22902 The Wakefield Fighting Owls lacrosse team scored 12 points and held the host Tandem Friends Badger to 9 in the Fighting Owls league win on Thursday.
The Fighting Owls (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Fredericksburg Academy (Fredericksburg, VA). The Falcons go into the VISAA Division 3 game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Fredericksburg Academy by Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA), 19-7, in a non-league game.
The Badger (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Hawks go into the VISAA Division 2 game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Highland nudged Covenant (Charlottesville, VA), 11-6, in a non-league game.
