Washington High School Soccer - Vashon Island held off by Sultan
April 14, 2022: Vashon Island, WA 98070 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA) and the host Vashon Island Pirates (Vashon Island, WA), saw Sultan's soccer squad get by Vashon Island by a count of 1-0.
The Turks now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Granite Falls for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 19. Sultan will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to South Whidbey (Langley, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Vashon Island drops to 5-2 on the season. The Pirates host Klahowya (Silverdale, WA) to meet the Eagles in a 1A/2A Olympic test on Saturday, April 16. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-3. Klahowya lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Cascade Christian (Puyallup, WA)
