Kansas High School Softball - Humboldt nudges Burlington
April 14, 2022: Burlington, KS 66839 Humboldt Cubs (Humboldt, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Burlington Wildcats (Burlington, KS), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Cubs now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Central Heights for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 22.
With the loss, Burlington falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS) to face the Chargers in a Pioneer challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 4-4. Santa Fe Trail won 17-4 in their recent league challenge against Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS)
