Arizona High School Softball - Higley bounces Fairfax

April 14, 2022: Gilbert, AZ 85297

Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ), 10-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host Campo Verde for a 5A San Tan game on Tuesday, April 19. Higley will clash with a Coyotes team coming off a 15-2 league loss to Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 16-9.

In their next game, the Stampede clash with the Carl Hayden Community Falcons (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro game, on Friday, April 15. Fairfax will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 8-10 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Independence (Glendale, AZ).
